Friday is payday. After this there's only one more payday for the year. I can not believe 2012 is almost over!!!
I just updated our numbers. We went backwards quite a bit here at the end. I knew we would
The good news is that we still have paid off almost five times as much this year as we did last year. Great progress! I am excited to see what 2013 will bring. DH has some big cases that have been submitted and we are just waiting to see how long it will take for them to process. So the checks are coming soon, we just don't know if they will come at the end of Dec or the beginning of Jan.
The focus for 2013 will first be to open up cash-flow. There are two debts we have that are just over $9,000 together but represent $450 in monthly payments. The goal is to knock those out as soon as possible and use the cash to snowball on to the 0% balance transfers. If all goes according to plan, we could retire all CC debt in 2013. This part of the journey could finally be over, six years after it started!
From there our focus will shift to saving up for a new house. We still have a car payment & student loans, but the interest rates are really low on those and we want to be in a new house as soon as possible. Tenantive timeline is spring 2014 unless something works out sooner.
